This Prophetess of God has taken her stand in the earth despite insurmountable odds." She is certain that God, in his infinite wisdom and purpose has chosen her as a royal daughter of Zion for such a time as this. Born and raised in Tulsa, ok., Tawana’s very own trials, tribulations, and tears have equipped her to be all that God has predestined her to be, even as the odds piled up against her, one right after the other. "The more they piled up, the more God took her up!" Tawana landed in the state of Oklahoma’s penal system with a ten-year prison sentence, and there was no way that she would be able to do the time, and at that time God’s love didn’t feel reachable or searchable for Tawana Lyons. She’d lost it all, not only her beloved two children but, she also lost everything that any person in her predicament, let a long a single mother, home healthcare provider, Tulsa Community College student could lose at the time. 

While Tawana was hurled into the prison system impregnated with twins, everything was just so blurry that she felt like all hope was lost. Growing up with a strong religious background, it was only inside the penal system that She would then be crowned and have a head on collision with Jesus Christ and his redemptive power. It also was only then that through release and relationship that Tawana received God’s true freedom. Tawana Lyons haven’t looked back and have been on the narrow path now for twenty years! God has now imparted his grace unto her so that through ‘AGAINST ALL ODDS’ Ministries he shall reach the unreachable and save the unsavable with unconventional methods in these end times.

Jesus Christ chose his twelve disciples, and he knew that once he had completed his teachings and assignment on earth that he would then ascend, ("Mount up!") and these twelve would receive the holy spirit that would inspire as well as aspire them, along with many others to write the stories of their journey on earth with him, including the miraculous wonders he did. This same spirit that is alive and well on today has inspired so many other believers to write their stories of not only the wonderful and miraculous things that God has done for them but, how they also would obtain the victory over all the hell they’ve endured, while embarking upon true freedom, transformation, and healing from the trauma of it all.
